THE BRIDAL PARTY | Mike+Kate's Wedding

Emily is my little sister. She is one of the hardest working and most naturally talented individuals I know. She has always excelled in everything she attempts, and has done so despite often difficult odds. Emmy is also my best friend, so choosing her as my maid of honor was a simple task. She is patient, wise, beautiful on the inside and outside, fiercely loyal, strong, smart, and incredibly witty. I wonder, sometimes, where she gets her sense of humor -- even if I am often the butt of her jokes. She's that person I know would love me in spite of even my worst self, and would do whatever it took to have my back; she is my snuggle and sleepover buddy, car singing copilot, and mom-joking comaster. I'm not exactly sure how she grew up and became the cooler sister, but I'm definitely ok with it. She has the heart of a saint, patience to put up with me for 19 years, and the ability to make me laugh even when I would prefer to be grumpy. Emily is currently a Junior at Muhlenberg College where she is studying Public Health, English, and Studio Art -- yes all three. All while being the president of her Sorority and the future Elle Woods of Harvard Law School (fingers crossed on this one). Love you Emmy.

Emily - Maid of Honor

Korrinne is one of "the roomies" from Muhlenberg College. She was a fellow Neuroscience major and I am honored to have her as a bridesmaid on my special day. Korrinne has one of the kindest and most generous hearts of any woman I have ever met. Her empathetic and caring spirit is what allows her to serve others with such a patient grace. I am so blessed with so many wonderful girlfriends, but Korrinne was the first one to extend the hand of friendship at school. We soon realized that we were two peas in a pod with our shared love of dogs, the outdoors, backpacking and hiking, nerdy brain things, Anne of Green Gables, and God. Although she has blown me away with her hidden dance moves -- a talent I most certainly do not possess, Korrinne is a friend that I know I can rely on no matter what life throws my way. She is currently attending DeSales University to become a Physician's Assistant.

What to say about Jenna....the spunky, spirited, silly Carrie-Underwood jamming side of her exists in contrast with her wisdom-seeking, empathetic heart. Jenna always amazes me at the way she lights up a room, is welcoming and light-hearted with anyone she meets, and simultaneously shares her faith with the world in her actions, her spirit, and her words. If you aren't careful, however, she might try to brush or floss you teeth, as she has a bit of a hankering for toothy things. (She is currently attending Temple Dental School)...it totally creeps me out. I had so many laughs over the years with Jenna. Her dog voice, stanky leg dance moves, and "ew" impersonations never fail to make me smile. Thank you for being another wonderful bridesmaid sweet friend. I am so grateful to have you in my life, even if Shane is now your forever roomie :)

Sienna is like one of those people that you look at and wonder if she is real. Did she triple major in college? Yes. Did she simultaneously start a nonprofit? Yes. Does she now work in the coolest job at the coolest company? Yes.

You almost want to hate her.

But you can't, because she has a heart of gold. Sienna is blessed to have a patient, generous, and wise heart. In so many ways she is actually like Michael. Where I operate with impetuous disinhibition, Sienna operates with calm and logical resolve. She was often the advice-giver of the roomies, and her ability to understand emotions and situations, while responding with an empathetic logical heart founded in reason was unmatched. Sienna, also is such a talented designer. Her abilities to aesthetically put together pretty much anything and understand art have always blow my mind. Her wedding invitations, anything she graphic designs, and even her home look like they should all be on the cover of a magazine. Sienna was the wild-card amidst our neuroscience loving weird brain-obsessed crowd, but I am so glad she put up with us. I couldn't imagine college, or my life without her :)

When Michael told me his older sister's name was Katie Emily I stopped him and asked him if he was kidding.... Before even meeting her, I was impressed that she had two of the coolest names (in my humble opinion) for girls ever.

After meeting her, I was equally impressed. I never had an older sister, but to have one like Katie would have been a dream.

She immediately welcomed me into friendship and I was so grateful for her kind and loving spirit, her advise, and her wisdom. Family is something of great importance to me, and by marrying Michael I immediately get 4 siblings. This could be a scary thought, but he basically has the best sisters ever so this was merely an added bonus. Katie is a psychologist/counselor and I am a bit of a fangirl.

Plus....she is the cutest dog mom ever to one of Daisy Mae's beaus....Utley.

Rachel is awesome. I remember when Michael was picking her up from the train station for a visit how nervous I was to meet her and make a good impression, but she is one of those people that instantly makes you feel like a pal. She has a beautiful, spunky, silly, and happy personality.

Rachel is one of those little siblings that blows your mind. I guess I get to say I have two of those now... she seems at first glance like a really pretty sports star. Then you get to know her and not only is she good at everything she does, but she is smart and kind and empathetic as well.

I am so excited to get to know her more over the years and hope we can sprinkle some Fixer Upper inspired adventuring in the mix :)

RACHEL

Everyone makes fun of Amanda but I haven't exactly figured out why....then again, maybe that's because many of those people make fun of me as well....

Amanda is bubbly, energetic, kind, and uniquely her own. I have noticed an interesting trend in the Robinson children; each one of them is not afraid to be their own person. This can make them weird, in Michael's case, or awesome in Amanda's case. That being said, I think he makes fun of her because he secretly knows hes the stranger one.

I can't wait to hang out more over the wedding planning process and grow closer in the years to come. In many ways, people like Amanda inspire me to live confidently, so I hope I grow to be more like her.

Liz is my godsister and she is such a blessing to me. She has always been there for me over the years and among other things she has inspired my creativity and my less-conventional pursuits when I often felt discouraged myself. Liz always sends me photography business tips and encouraging podcast links -- a big help to me as I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey. She runs an INCREDIBLE bakery (check her out @sweetcheeks_bakes).

Anyways, Liz is kind, patient, honest, and loyal. She has offered advice, wisdom, fun adventures, and friendship whenever I was experiencing good times, or bad. Love you Liz <3

You ever have one of those friends that loves you so much and is so honest it scares you?

Sierra is that friend.

She is so grounded in love and honesty with everything she does and she loves God so much that it shows through everything she does. Sierra has picked me up at my lowest points in life and has been by my side encouraging me and proud of me during the best. She is in many ways my biggest life cheerleader and my greatest accountability partner. Sierra is spirited, adventurous, incredibly talented, patient, and persistent. She pushes you to be the best you that you can be and she inspires the people around her with her actions and her vivacious, leading personality. She means the world to me and I could not imagine her not being a part of my forever -- since she has done so much to shape where I am today.
